A rugged-terrain trip planning app: choose the best trail, pack all the gear and stay safe!

I was contracted to refine the concept of an outdoor/backpacking trip planning app based on the Outdoor Code safety precautions. At the time, there was no all-inclusive tool for people starting to get into hiking to learn the outdoor safety protocols, specific route expectations, and key itinerary. Most importantly, a streamlined way of notifying friends and relatives about upcoming trips had to be developed.

I developed the app's visual identity, copy & iconography, delivering an engineer-ready spec & prototype.
